Candy Cane Nails

This is a really cute idea for Christmas that can be done in a lot of ways. You can use all red nails to base, or add the silver like I did, you can use your candy cane nails on more than one nail, with red or green or silver or anything really. This offers a simple look with lots of options.

I chose to use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in So Poppy on my fingers, with Celeb City (same brand) on my thumbs. Then I used a white striper by Kiss and a silver glitter striper from Wow Wow Nails. I only made my ring fingers candy canes, because mine were not super neat and I think it would have looked messy and crowded on all fingers. If you can do it thinner and neatly then feel free to cover all fingers in the stripes.

This is my Candy Cane Nail, I did have some trouble with the stripers, I am not very neat an precise so I always struggle with painting my own lines.

Overall though I like this mani and think its really cute for Christmas time!
What do you guys think?

Small Haul

This is my first real "haul" since I started blogging. I was so backed up of swatching polishes that I owned when I started this blog, so I never even thought of buying new polishes. But then I couldn't resist - I had to.

These include a Wet N Wild glitter topcoat, called Hallucinate, which I am planning on layering over plain black to see how it compares to Midnight in NY.

Then there are two Sally Hansen Xtreme Wears, Celeb City, which I heard was a great silver for Konad stamping, and Emerald City, which I heard was a go to forest green. So far I love them both (in the bottle) and cannot wait to use them for something and show you guys.

Last there are two nail art stripers, by Kiss. They even come with little stencils, so we'll see what I can do with those.

I am really excited about this stuff, as it is my first blogging haul.

What about you guys, anything catch your eye that I should try? (Haha that rhymed...)
