My Stash

Hello!

I am back home from my first few days at University. It is pretty hectic there, especially with no laptop to keep me updated. I might go crazy if I can't catch up on my favourite blogs!

Here I am (for a few days at least) and I have something special to share with you guys.

Since I moved to my Residence, I organized all my polishes into a drawer. So here goes nothing, this is my stash...

It is not as big as some of the great bloggers out there, but slowly I am growing. People at my school now think of me as the crazy nail polish girl who has an entire drawer to fit it all!

Hope you enjoy!

Lace or Gate?

This was the craziest manicure I have ever given Mommy! She wore colour! Wow! The purple base was a Revlon 60 Seconds, but it was in terrible condition and was a disaster to apply. Right after this it was promptly put into the next year Zoya Exchange pile. But not the point...

The green was also Revlon 60 Seconds, and had much better luck. its called Camouflage, and it is a typical army green with a tiny shimmer of gold. I used Konad m57 (again) and stamped what I cannot decide if its a lace or an iron gate pattern. Looks like both to me. I used Sally Hansen White On.

Not one of my best, but I did manage to get Mommy to wear something other than a tiny flower or butterfly, and its colour!

What do you guys think? And does anyone have ideas for more colour for Mommy?

Bright Floral Konad

This cute summer design came from Konad image plate m57. I used two coats of Revlon Lasting Finish in Magnolia Pearl. The colour itself is really nice, a creamy champagne beige white colour tone. It was a great base for the bright colours I used to stamp. I used the three different sized flowers on the side of the image plate.

These three fingers were my favourites, they had all three colours and the flowers were randomly positioned.

The colours I used included Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Pronto Purple.

Essence Show Your Feet in Caribbean Sea.

And also the Konad Special Polish in Orange.
I finished with a Konad Top Coat and voila - cute and bright summer nails!

Matte Zoya Glossy Tips

Happy Birthday to me! Over the weekend I finally got the Zoya Matte polish I have been wanting for ages, so here it is! I also have Zoya Astra, swatches coming soon!

I decided to spice it up with a glossy tip, and then went even further to make it sparkly! Yay for birthday manicures!

Very easy, fast, and simple to do, but still really interesting with the three way combination of matte, glossy tips, and glitter.

This is my beautiful Zoya Savita. It is a lovely purple with tiny gold flecks insome lights. I am in love with the matte-ness of it and am so happy with everything about it, including the bottle.

To get my glittery sparkle tips I used this really old Revlon one from the depths of the closet. I have no idea what it is called but it worked like a charm to give me exactly what I wanted.

I even did the tips freehand! Wow I think I am improving, they're actually pretty straight!
What do you guys think?
